Tata Group’s Chief of Human Resources (COHR) N S Rajan, put in his papers on Friday, following the disbanding of the Group Executive Council (GEC), of which he is a part, The Times of India said in a report.

Rajan, the report said, was picked by Cyrus Mistry, and his exit marks the beginning of the consequences of the Chairman’s unceremonious ouster. Tata Sons is likely to fill Rajan’s post soon.

Before joining the Tata group, N S Rajan was partner and global leader, people and organisation, EY. He had also worked in various ogranisations, including erstwhile Ranbaxy, Asian Paints, BlowPlast, ABC Consultants and Asia Online.
