Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad has wrapped up Cluster 3 of its final placement process for the PGP Class of 2024, which saw participation of recruiters including Tata Steel, NPCI, Jio Financial Services, Newgen Software Tech, Javis, BNP Paribas, Axis Bank and S&P Global, the institute said in a statement on Tuesday.

Cluster 3 comprised firms across eight cohorts including BFSI, analytics & IT consulting, core manufacturing & infrastructure, renewable energy & greentech, government enterprises, enterprise tech, fintech and logistics. Many new recruiters participated this year across cohorts, including Waree and Jio Financial Services.

“Even in a tough year for the job market, IIM-A saw a large number of recruiters participating in the placement process,” said Ankur Sinha, chairperson of placements at IIM-A. “This year as well we saw an increase in the participation of firms and also the variety in job roles was higher.”

Rajkot-based Silver Consumer Electricals in the core manufacturing and infrastructure cohort rolled out the highest offers (five). The BFSI cohort rolled out the second-highest offers.

In its statement, IIM-A said that with the conclusion of Cluster 3, the placement process ends with all the students of the PGP batch securing job offers.
