It is no longer optional for HR to stay in our little bubble. We have to first lead with, what is the business need…

In this series of the Digital HR Leaders Podcast we’re taking a closer look at how having the right people data in place supports companies operating in fast-growing environments.

My guest on this week’s episode is Jignasha Grooms, Chief Human Resources Officer at Epicor Software, a 4,000 person global technology company.

Jignasha has twenty years of experience in the IT industry, both in Business/Sales Operations and Human Resources, and prior to joining Epicor in November 2016, spent eight years at Cisco, where in her last role she led HR for the America sales organisation, the global marketing function and the global sales and operations function, as well as the Staffing discipline in support of all Cisco businesses and functions in Asia Pacific and Japan.

Since joining Epicor in 2016, Jignasha has drawn on her vast experience to lead the creation of a ‘One Epicor’ culture, which puts employees at the centre of the company’s business proposition. The results are exceptional. Not only has the shift to a One Epicor culture helped make the company a better place to work but it has had a direct and quantifiably positive impact on business performance, customer retention and employee experience.

Jignasha believes that the primary role of HR “…is to be in the service of the business’ success,” and the way she leads HR and uses people analytics to drive business impact is highly impressive.
