What is their podcast called?
Advertisements are still ok. Just buy things you need and truly love. I'm a medium minimalist. And yes you can make a living as a writer. My husband is a screenwriter and he makes enough money for us to live on.
Plot Twist:
These guys just became heroin addicts
and sold all their shit.
"Minimalism" is the cover.
I love them and listen to their podcasts but wow they are repetitive with their exact words.. ?
i love the idea of what rhe say and preach and i believe they limit what they buy BUT they seem obsessed with making money Books lectures and what ever, I hope im wrong but it seems that way
Oh the irony they are doing this at Google!
I really like these guys and their message, they do tend to answer varied questions with rehearsed anecdotes though
I've been living out of a carry-on bag, owning nothing else in the world since hurricane Sandy (there as a volunteer, surrounded by thousands that had lost everything), haven't had cell service for 3 yrs, and don't even aspire to own anything more. I could live on min wage (I moved to México) now but still can earn $100+ per hour as a consultant. Minimalism can lead to being happy with nothing, which is a relatively perma-happy state that can easily end in an even more perma-happy inducing spiral into altruism.
#Free 😀
I <3 these guys
I know poor people, they have a lot of junk haha
The idea of paring down all your material possessions is all well and good but the more interesting is question is what you do next. I kind of wish the Minimalists would spend more time exploring that now rather than flogging a dead horse.
This is not a new concept ~ has just now become popular
A Vegan, a Cross fitter, an Atheist and a person who permanently deleted their FB account walk into a bar. How do I know? They told me.
I like the message and agree with a lot of what they say but they need to slow down on the plugging – "watch our documentary, buy our book" – we get it.
What the FUCK is that spanish guy saying?! The first question they got from the audiance. Jesus, retarded
Love the lady in front who's probably there to get credit for being there, but totally on her laptop, not listening at all.
Awesome talk. we need to have less, part of the hardship of doing that is rent. There needs to be a solution.
His phone print on his trouser is really bothering me.
Hey Konan, did you really wear Toms slippers to talk at Google?! Hahaha! & could you please stop bragging about how successful you were, before you became even more successful as a famous person minimalist!? (Also, is the moderator a girl or a boy?)
