its an honesty that many people can't see or accept.
Now I realize that consistency is one of the main conditions for success. Who else thinks so?
I like that he says all the traditional metrics will go up in the long term – he sums up the work we do into safety and how crucial leadership is to that, and the importance of creating an environment of trust. It's long term, it's hard work, and it requires the leader to put the staff first. Not big, bold inspirational speeches and gestures, but small, daily practices… consistently
Consistency ftw!!!!!
how can we say No to this conversation if He does already persistently right, deliberately at the end of his phrase. ☝?
Well, I know this is about leadership and how it happens and is developed, but hey, this guy is one of the few that get the loving your wife thing too. Interesting that Jesus said his love of the Church and for the Church is like a husband's love for his wife. Given that Jesus gave himself for the Church, I can see how when a husband considers his wife as he considers adn is concerned for himself means he is showing his love for her. It's not a word, it is an action of sacrificial love.
ewwwww…..hey can i sit in front of you and have you use me as your tool for self-promotion?
Great things to learn from this ?
Thanks Simon! it turns out that my faith wasn’t wrong in terms of what truly leadership is wherever we are, I feel so relieve it’s proven with hundreds of consent and positive comments here. Many of successful leaders are respected because of their endless caring and sacrifice to their people, group, and country
I am the ripe young age of 41. A individual who has believed for years that true successful leadership is exactly how your describing it. Because I am a female I have been shown that leading with a heart felt blueprint is just not how the real business world works. Well now we have you. I pray people are listening. If we had men like you running for President. Our country would finally be Great Again !!!!
right?
Low key simpish
This is complimented by the books Compound Effect and The Slight Edge
Saying “right?” after most of his statements is highly annoying and distracting. Very bad habit for public speaking and interviews.
I just like the speech so much. He actually uses the great way to convince people
with all the great intellectual words that he's using and all this smart stuff you still forgot about one important thing and that's from the neck down learn to a jog and sauce and that's all I'm going to tell you learn to jog and sow off see it by this and put it in your backyard and I'll run around
He reminds me of Alan Watts. I really enjoyed this
The need for power surmounts all other experiences – in this (de)generation
She was hitting on me in this clumsy, passive way for a long time (like a year or so). I was on a fence about it, still remembering how awful my last relationship ended. We were both playing the fools but kept close to each other "as friends".
And then there came a summer evening by a bonfire, lots of us around, so nothing steamy you might think. We were sitting next to each other as usual, she was leaning on me and I, mesmerized by flames, absentmindedly, started to caress her hand… She froze. I noticed that I am being watched by her friends and realized what I am doing. It is then that I knew. That's where I finally gave up and listened to what my subconsciousness was telling me all that time. She had me.
So here, I can pinpoint a moment when I "started" loving my ex.
(I know it's not what he's talking about, I'm trying to be little tongue-in-cheeky)
I love my wife but im not attracted to her anymore
Circle acid soul dark brush mad bridge obligation certain square
This GUY is a FUCKING retard Most of the SHIT he says IS just BULLCRAP
25 sec into the video and the guy is already wrong … i loved my wife on first eyesight
Yawn….
Called best speech because Simon’s listening is definitely not one of his skills! How many times did he interrupt his interviewer. That being said, consistency in little things you do for others will get you a long way.
WAIT WHAT!!!! I GO TO THE DENTIST TWICE A YEAR OH GOD
This wise guy is already married ?! I incredibly want to discuss with him a million question over a cup of coffee after breakfast!
Simon is so intelligent, but it is a little saddening to see him not listen, and cut off, the other expert on stage. Listening is a VERY important component to leadership, without truly listening (especially in the way this happened) we are doomed to our own beliefs. Although Simon’s beliefs are amazing. It would absolutely benefit him to listen to others.
This guy is s globalist.
I don't like how he talks about love comparing it to gym tho. If love does not happen, you should work to fell in love? If you don't love person you like you should be more dedicated to trying? Call me what you want, I don't want it this way
do you know how bold it is to say what he is saying? oh wait – if you have never had a boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife relationship 4/more than 4, 8, 12, 16+ years? shut the fk up. no one is listening to you that didn't have parents that read 'Good night Moon' or Madeline, cultural legends. I'd love to debate BUT that's been erased from University! 60% student enrollment is Diversified. 85% of University Professors are White… huumm. 6M Jewish people died. 58 Million aborted babies in the US. Something is wrong and Sinek is right on with the tempo.
You are amazing Simon…
Love Simon and Tom.
Bullshit, takes 2 that want to work on it each day. It’s give and take. Not take Take Take Take oh and Take. Get it rite.
The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb, meaning bonds forged in conflict are so much stronger than a real family… We get this mixed up all the time
What a crock of horseshit! Who is this guy to tell people how they feel and why they do things! Pitiful!
Wish all interviews were dignified like this. Interviewers who interupt all the time and don't listen is sobride and annoying to the audience.
I love listening to simon talk. Couldnt wait till the other guy started listening again instead of talking lol no offense
I love my wife because she is awesome everyday. Sometimes, she is awesome twice a day. Smiling
Our current industries to not encourage long term commitments. Look at hospitals getting rid of the high paid long term nurses for the lower paid new GN/RN.
Actually, we are penalized for staying 20, 30 years.
Wow, my life sucks. lol
full interview please anybody? i would like to watch it
There was this one guy named Jesus who did this perfectly. Why his practices are still valid and working! Thankful for Simon putting it out there for others to see
that only works with working out not with girls & guys with love or dating I loved this one girl to death we did everything together then she dumped me & told me all that time was a lie & she wanted to end sooner so just think of that when you cared & loved someone so much when you cared & not cheated on them then they say they got a new man they didn't like you or really wanted to be with you then you go have fun with another girl then their other guy starts shitting on them then they want you back lol not the same feeling then you can only be civil like then you pass by someone you don't know I do know this I don't trust no woman in love anymore
I just love how much the interviewer actually challenges what Simon says, sometimes I feel he oversimplifies or gets things wrong.
Well when someone asks how was your day it’s only good education to respond with good and you regardless if it’s a bad day. It’s a social norm. If you actually confess how bad your day is going and how you feel people will feel uncomfortable because it’s not the norm. So yeah idk
WOMEN DO NOT LOVE MEN. WOMEN LOVE WHAT MEN CAN DO FOR THEM. LOVE IS WHAT MEN DO FOR WOMEN. RESPECT, WOMEN RESPECT MEN BECAUSE MEN LOVE THEM. WOMEN DO NOT LOVE MEN, THEY RESPECT THEM. WOMEN GIVE THEIR LOVE TO CHILDREN, NOT MEN.
