We live in times when technology is defining the world of work. While the pandemic-enforced work-from-home model optimized the use of technology, workforces demonstrated increased success in achieving targets, retaining productivity and profitability despite being away from direct workplace supervision. Although remote working has surged business, it has considerably lowered a company’s engagement with its employees, especially on emotional grounds.

Having recognized the challenge, organizations now believe that it is imperative, more than ever, to focus on employee engagement, because employees hold the key to a successful business. In this era of knowledge economy, value proposition is defined by the value created by workers through their creativity.

The essence lies in the idea of visibility into what employees desire, how to connect with them, and importantly how to retain them, going beyond their duties and responsibilities. By doing so an organization will build trust with its employees and place them in the centre of decision-making.
